Our Mission
At Vital Id Of East Central Missouri, we strive to empower individuals by providing the necessary technical assistance to obtain a valid Missouri photo ID. Our goal is to help those in need access vital human services that can significantly improve their quality of life.
● We expect all clients to be treated with dignity, patience and compassion while they are being assisted.
● We will not charge any clients for receiving services and they don’t owe anything to the Vital ID team or any volunteer for services provided.
● All documents obtained. By Vital ID team and its surrogates will be kept confidential unless the client gives them written permission to share it.
● The Vital ID Program will only provide clients financial assistance for birth certificates and/or photo identification cards one time per one year (365 days).

Joleen Patterson 10-19-1950 to 01-17-2025
In 2023 after seeing lack of services and need for them in rural areas she took it upon herself to start Vital Id of Franklin County.
However being the companionate person she was she didn't stop there in 2024 while battling cancer. She expanded it to four additional counties.
After she passed from Cancer in Jan 2025 her family and friends carry her legacy and we are now in 14 counties and growing.
